Terms & commitments for paragliding flights
Paragliding is an adventure sport. Please read everything below carefully before confirming your booking.
Last updated: 07/08/2026.
1. Conditions for flying
- Paragliding is an outdoor adventure sport. It carries the natural risks of free flight, which no pilot, however knowledgeable and skilled, can eliminate 100%. Your flight is carried out by a professionally trained pilot with professional certification.
- Passengers must be in good enough health for outdoor sport and must not have conditions that could endanger themselves or others, such as epilepsy, serious heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, neurological disorders, frequent dizziness/fainting, spinal, bone or joint conditions, or conditions requiring regular medication.
- Passengers under 18 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian who is present at the flying site.
- By registering and flying, passengers are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following waiver of liability:
- You are fully aware that paragliding carries the inherent risks of an airborne sport;
- You take part voluntarily and accept the risks that arise during the activity;
- You release the pilots, instructors and organiser from liability for incidents arising within the inherent risks of flying;
- You undertake not to claim compensation or take legal action in the event of an accident or incident causing damage to your property or health;
- You fully follow the safety instructions of the pilot and operations staff;
- This waiver is valid for the entire time you take part in paragliding activities run by the organiser.
- When flying, the take-off run and landing may involve slipping or falling, which can dirty your clothes or even cause scrapes. Please do not wear expensive clothing or valuable jewellery; bring long-sleeved clothes you can move in easily and wear sports shoes.
- Passengers undertake to provide accurate information: full name, date of birth, ID document number, weight and health status.
2. Flight duration
Unpowered paragliding depends 100% on the wind; the expected duration is around 10 minutes per flight. Powered paragliding (paramotor) can control its duration: 15 or 20 minutes depending on the package. Passengers accept that:
- The flight may be shorter than expected in weak wind conditions.
- In good weather, the flight may be extended free of charge.
- Flying longer than 15 minutes can easily cause dizziness due to changes in pressure and altitude — please take this into account.
3. Use of images
- Photos and videos recorded during the flight (GoPro or other devices) are provided to the customer and may be used by the organiser for communication and promotional purposes.
- If you do not agree to the use of your images, please let us know before or after your flight.
4. Rescheduling and cancellation rules
Paragliding depends 100% on the weather, especially the wind. By flying, passengers understand and agree that:
- Flight schedules may be changed, moved or cancelled due to bad weather, unsafe wind or force majeure. In these cases, passengers can reschedule or cancel completely free of charge.
- Days of bad weather that delay the schedule may lead to a backlog of guests; flights may be moved without prior notice. Passengers agree to rescheduling so that flight safety remains the top priority.
- If a passenger cancels for personal reasons after using part of the service (insurance already activated, transfer vehicle already used, drinks…), the passenger pays all costs incurred.
- If a passenger cancels or reschedules for personal reasons once the pilots and staff are ready, the passenger bears the corresponding costs incurred.
- Flights are scheduled on a "first booked, first served" basis. On peak days, please book as early as possible to keep your priority.
5. Pets and belongings in flight
Pets: allowed; the passenger takes full responsibility for the pet's safety, and a suitable harness/secure attachment is required. The pilot may refuse if safety is affected (size, weight, hard-to-control behaviour).
Personal belongings: you may bring your phone, sunglasses and small items; you are responsible for looking after them. Oversized or overly heavy items (over 3 kg or obstructing safety) may be refused.
Food and drink: drinking alcohol is your personal responsibility. Passengers who are drunk or not in control of their behaviour may be refused flight and will not be refunded.
6. Add-on services (drone, 360 camera, filming)
- Recording equipment may suffer technical faults, battery failure, signal loss or uncontrollable shaking; sometimes this is only discovered after the flight.
- If the filming service cannot be delivered or does not meet quality standards due to a technical fault, the cost of the filming service is refunded 100%; the flight cost is not refunded because the flight was carried out in full and safely.
- GoPro, drone and 360 camera files are sent right after landing, downloaded directly to your phone.
- GoPro filming with the pilot's help is completely free. You may be asked to hold the device during the flight; you do not have to pay if you drop or damage it, and you will not be compensated for data lost if the device is dropped or damaged during the flight.
7. Other general rules
- Weight and physical condition. Passengers over 90 kg, please let us know in advance so we can arrange a suitable pilot and equipment. If your actual weight differs significantly from what you declared, the pilot may refuse to fly and the flight is treated as cancelled for personal reasons.
- Arrive on time. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your flight time to check in and receive instructions. Arriving more than 30 minutes late without notice is treated as a cancellation for personal reasons.
- Honest declaration. Giving false information about or hiding your health, weight or age breaches these terms; you will not be refunded if you are refused flight for that reason.
- The pilot's authority. The final decision on whether to fly, the timing, the flight path and the landing site rests with the pilot on site. The pilot may stop or shorten the flight at any time if they judge it unsafe.
- Insurance. Every flight includes accident insurance under the insurance contract held by the organiser. Passengers who want higher cover should arrange additional insurance themselves before the flight date.
- Prices and payment. Prices follow the price list at the time of booking. No deposit and no prepayment needed; pay at check-in at the flying site, before the flight (together with the paperwork, insurance confirmation and liability waiver), by cash, bank transfer, card (+3%) or PayPal (+3%).
- Personal data. The information you provide is used to organise your flight, purchase insurance, issue tickets and contact you for support; it is not shared with third parties beyond these purposes.
- Validity and amendments. These terms take effect when you confirm your booking; the version that applies to each booking is the one displayed at the time of confirmation.
- Dispute resolution. First through good-faith negotiation; if no agreement is reached, the matter is brought before the competent court where the organiser is headquartered.
