Getting to your flight in Quản Bạ
Meeting point, how to get there from Hà Giang city, the schedule of a flying session and what to bring.
Where is the flying site?
The flying site is in Quản Bạ commune, Tuyên Quang province — the gateway to the Đồng Văn Rocky Plateau, about 45 km from Hà Giang city along National Road 4C (about 1 hour 15 minutes by car).
- Paragliding (PG) take-off: on the mountainside at 950 m altitude — coordinates 23.0604, 105.0190.
- Landing field: flat ground by the river at 450 m altitude — coordinates 23.0613, 105.0389. This is also the paramotor (PPG) take-off site.
Paragliding: you take off from the mountain and land in the valley. Paramotor: you take off and land at the same flat field.
Meeting point
The meeting point is in Quản Bạ commune, Tuyên Quang province; the exact address is sent via Zalo/WhatsApp when your flight is confirmed. Please arrive 30 minutes before your flight to check in, get weighed and receive the safety briefing.
If you are riding the Hà Giang Loop by motorbike: follow National Road 4C over Quản Bạ Heaven's Gate and down to the centre of Quản Bạ commune. If you come by bus: get off at the Quản Bạ commune centre and the flight team will pick you up at the meeting point.
Transfers
- Within Quản Bạ: transfers between the meeting point, the take-off site and the landing field are included in the ticket price.
- From Hà Giang city: 4-seat car 500.000 đ per car, each way — select it when booking or let the flight team know.
- Companions who are not flying: please tell us how many so we can arrange seats in the car.
Schedule of a flying session

The flight team confirms your exact flight time on the morning of the flight after checking the wind. The best time slots are usually 7:00–11:00 and 15:00–17:00.
What to bring
- ID (Vietnamese ID card/passport) for insurance.
- Sports shoes, a light jacket, sunglasses.
- A phone with about 10 GB free to receive the videos.
- Drinking water is available at the site; meals are not included.
